SoSoBa is widely appreciated for its flavorful, albeit non-traditional, ramen offerings that blend Asian influences with subtle American twists, appealing to fans of fusion cuisine. Customers frequently highlight the bold and umami-rich taste profiles, complemented by well-prepared appetizers like gyoza and shishito peppers. The restaurant’s cozy atmosphere and attentive, friendly service contribute positively to the overall dining experience. While some diners note minor preferences regarding noodle texture, the majority find the food satisfying and the environment inviting, making it a favored spot for casual nights out. Busy periods are common, but wait times tend to remain manageable, reflecting the venue’s growing popularity in downtown Flagstaff.

I loved this place. The ramen was amazing and very flavorful. Anthony and Adam took great care of us and were attentive and friendly throughout our visit. The ramen had a slight American-style twist to it, but it was still enjoyable and acceptable, especially for those who like a fusion approach. Overall, the experience was very good, and I would definitely consider coming back again.

We were really craving any Asian food after having mostly American food in Arizona. Happy to have found this cozy joint! The ramen is not traditionally prepared, but it hits the spot with bold and umami flavour. Shishito peppers were also done very nicely.

We had a delicious dinner tonight. We very much enjoyed our two Ramens but the best was our gyoza appetizer. This is a very busy place. We were lucky to only have a short wait time for a table.

Quaint little spot in downtown Flagstaff. The ramen was good, but noodles were a little too al dente for me. Otherwise, the food was tasty and hot. The options were plentiful and service was good. The atmosphere was also very cozy and comfortable. I recommend this place for a night out with friends.

If you’re lucky enough to get Nabile as your waitress you will spend a really good night. Excellent service. Great food! I recommend it 100%!

A unique ramen shop with a vibe to match. Thought we’d give it a try and turned out to be pretty legit Ramen. After spending 15 years in Japan, I’m always a little extra picky when it comes to Japanese food but they do a pretty good job here and he can’t really go wrong with anything you order. The young female chef behind the counter, always calls up the order in a unique way, which was kind of fun.

Great variety of tasty and well prepared food. Cool small place vibe. We had a Ramen bowl and wings which we ordered extra crispy and they came out perfect. Priced right and fun High recommend! Will look forward to going back!

The restaurant is very clean, and the cooking is professional. The place is always busy, lively, and cozy. I really liked the staff; they were cheerful, attentive, and friendly. The portions are just the right size, and I recommend trying the Tantanmen and Katsu. I hope to visit the restaurant again soon if I'm in downtown again.
